I'm trying to lose this stubborn baby weight!!!! The problem.... He'll be 1 in a few weeks and I feel like such a failure for not meeting my initial goals. I have about 100lbs to lose and I sometimes feel like i'm drowning. Need a boost with this weight loss journey.
Has anyone tried nutrisystem? Reviews please.

I'm with you there. i have 60 lbs to lose and my little girl is turning 1 in a month. I'm using the Nutrisystem 5 day kits to train my body to get use to small portions. It's not a forever fix though. Soon I'll switch to cooking my own meals and teaching myself to make healthy choices.

The most important lesson you can learn is to eat foods you like in moderation. You will never get away from food. We have to eat to live. I have lost over 100 pounds. It has taken 2 years - but I have also learned how to eat correctly to fuel my body and the importance of exercising to maintain my health.

Nutrisystem does work but only because it is takes all of the weighing and measuring out of the equation for you. It is expensive, but very convenient. You can even scan the food into MFP because all of the prepackaged dinners are already in the database. There are some meals that are tasty, others that are okay and then there are some that are just plain awful. Overall, other than taste and cost, I don't have a lot of bad things to say about Nutirsystem. I have found that I can do just as well with a food scale, measuring cups/spoons and some creativity. And I can do it a lot cheaper than the monthly Nutirsystem delivery. Tag me if you have specific questions...0
