Im kinda new to this, always been a yo-yo dieter with weight watchers, atkins, etc... but ive really really enjoyed this so far.. counting my calories, walking the stairs, busy mom in general-i lost like 18lbs in the first month! BUT! everything has stopped now... its been like 2 weeks and i havent lost a pound?! i have only lowered my calorie (max) according to mfp instructions, i still am very active (work and home wise) and eat very nutritious foods...im just not losing anymore? im thinking about trying mfp standards with the 5:2 diet and see how well that works. Guess i just got really excited to lose that large amount of weight then very dissappointed to have it all stop so suddenly even though im trying very hard. NO BASHING!! COMMENTS ENCOURAGED!! thanks
PS garcinia cambogia??

2. If you aren't already using one, get and use a food scale. Weigh all solids. Measuring cups/spoons are not accurate:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVjWPclrWVY

it's normal for your body to plateau - especially after achieving such a great weight loss amount so congrats on that. Re-input your goals with your current numbers to reflect calorie intake for your new improved current body weight. You can also try mixing up your calorie intake to higher calories on heavier workout days, lower calories on lighter workout days to trigger your metabolism. Your body is acting normally so don't give up.0

so you have lost about 20 pounds in 6 weeks which is just under a pound a week ….remember, weight loss is not linear, you are going to have weeks when it goes down, weeks where it stays the same, and weeks where it may go up …
Are you drinking a lot of water? You would have some water retention ..if you drink a lot of water - like peeing every hour - that should help flush it out…
Do you own a food scale? Weigh/log/measure everything?
SInce you lost 20 pounds you may need to re-adjust your settings base d on your new weight…
Honestly, I would not really worry about it unless you stop losing all together or start gaining...0
