Woman using multi gyms

Hi I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me :) I am going to begin my training for a 10k tomorrow but want to do some weight training as well as running 3x a week to loose weight (well more to lose fat than weight as im not too bothered about the number on a scale). I cannot afford a gym membership but I do have a multi gym at home. Does anyone else use a multi gym and if so could they recommend any workouts they do please? I can't seem to find any schedules for fat loss instead of bulking.

Thank you so much

Try posting this on the long distance runners group--they might give you some answers.

Hi there - I arrived eventually.

Maybe you could do split training?

I use an app called Jefit to plan my routines by search for the exercises that can be used with what muscle set. It is online too and syncs with the app on your phone. It shows you how to perform the exercise using moving pictures and has instructions. When you select the muscle group, you can search with what equipment you have too, which can be useful.

If your building muscle you will do heavy weights with low reps - burning fat is high reps. I'm not an expert and I am not claiming to be, but I'm sharing the very little knowledge I do have with you. Eating 1 gram of protein to your bodyweight in lbs in another factor.

If you need me to explain further, please ask as I really don't mind :0)

Sorry I can't help with a plan for a multigym, however just letting you know that whether you are building muscle or losing fat depends more on what you are eating than what type of strength training you are doing.

Thank you so much Sonia will definitely try to find this app it sounds awesome ! Also thank you Obsidianwings I am also changing my diet as my main focus is my running at the moment. I am sure as more time goes on I will focus more on weights and hopefully increase my protein intake :)
