yesterday i started on my weight loss journey for the MILLIONTH TIME.....lol...I started measuring and counting calories...exercising and drinking water...the basics really....exercising meaning walking for 60 mins...

i'm going to keep at it from now til the end of the year...the longest i've stayed on my journey in a long time....as a reward for myself i'm wanting to get the P90X program....but i'm wondering is it better to start off with the power 90 program first and then do the P90X program?

I started with power 90....Power 90 is a great starting place...to start p90x you are susposed to be somewhat in shape and alot of people find it too hard to start with and don't finish it because they get overwelmed. Don't be afraid to fast forward through exercises that seem too hard a first....You can do it and if you have a bad day once in a while always remember tomorrow is a new day and it isn't done in a day.

I'm also starting with Power 90, mainly because my knees are fussy and I understand the plyo is killer on the joints. But lots of people start with P90X just fine ... I guess it just depends on your preferences/what all you want to take on.

Either way, I know that even the instructor encourages you to take your time, listen to your body and don't overdo it. Best of luck to you, you're off to a great start!

I'm on Day 15 of Power 90, and I love, love, love it!! P90X required too much time everyday for me. The Power 90 workouts are approx. 40 minutes, compared to as much as an hour or more for P90X.

And I swear I'm seeing/feeling results from Power 90 already - muscle tone, energy, I just feel great!

    Best of luck to you!!!
