Do you link your fitbit with MFP and eat the calories that your fitbit indicates? I've noticed by the end of the day my fitbit tells me I have about 200 or more calories left to eat. I don't track exercise - I use my fitbit to make sure I hit the 10,000 steps mark, so naturally my intake is higher according to that. BUT I was just wondering if anyone follows that number and if so, have they seen success?

Thanks!

I linked my accounts http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/30 enabled negative calorie adjustments http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings and followed my MFP calorie goal. (Fitbit pro-rates your calories by time of day & goes way below 1,200 calories.)

Your Fitbit burn is your TDEE. If you eat at a deficit, you will lose weight.

MFP has a Fitbit Users group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/1307-fitbit-users

I have my fitbit linked to MFP and I eat at my "goal calorie intake" on MFP (1400) and always watch my fitbit to make sure I've burned MORE than 1400 calories each day to leave myself at a deficit. I'm not sure if that helps you but I think that the fitbit is great to see steps and to see how many calories I've burned each day which is a great way for me to manage where I am and where I'm going :)

I used to have mine linked with MFP, but it kept messing up and adding calories instead of subtracting them so I unsynced it. I did not eat back all the calories it gave me though. I would rather just log my exercise calories seperately. I still wear my fitbit to get my 10k steps a day. :)
