P90X nutrition

I just picked back up with P90X, and I'm Phase 1, Level 1. The nutrition guidelines are killing me! My carbs are very limited and I have to take in a lot more protein than I usually do, and all the foods listed in the guide are boring. Anyone done P90x? Got some good recipes?

Vegetables- 2
Fats- 1

I did P90X quite a few years ago. I had lost a good 25 lbs in three months and was very tone without following the meal plans. I just did the workout without the nutrition side of it. I still ate healthy, just not what P90X told me to.0

I do P90X right now and am not following the nutrition guidelines. I am a vegetarian and have my own nutrition ideas. I've lost weight and inches and feel great.0
