But seriously, do we? I always feel weaker during TOM and find my body needs more calories (especially the first two days or so) in order to not feel quite so weak and fatigued. If I don't eat more it's because I'm in pain and would rather nap.

I'm interested to see responses to this.
I'm in the same boat. TOM started today. I was STARVING yesterday and I'm starving today. Lots of women say they crave chocolate and stuff on their period. I always want carbs, and I think that's because I do feel fatigued while I'm on it. I'm also anemic, so that may have something to do with it.
I hope someone responds with some scientific answers haha.0 -
Sadly, no:brokenheart: . Your hormones go all over the place which is why you get cravings and weakness and all the general meh. If anything you'd lose more calories during the first 2 weeks after your period because your uterus has to rebuild its lining but even then it's nothing log worthy :grumble:0
