i recently learned about this super low calorie pasta substitute online. i really want to try it out, but i have no idea where i'd be able to find it in stores!
if anyone can help me out, it'd be much appreciated. i live in new york city by the way, so if you know about any local nyc stores/chain stores that carry this product please let me know!!!

Hmn, this stuff has gotten rather mainstream. When I lived in Chicago I'm pretty sure I had seen it at Jewel and Dominicks (Albertsons and Safeway chains).
If all else fails, an Asian market will almost certainly carry it.
There's also a "Pasta Zero Plus" that is the same thing. Both are usually in the refrigerated produce section with the tofu, guacamole, etc.
Finally, there is such a thing as shirataki noodles without the tofu (also called konjac) that you might be able to find cheaper under an ethnic brand name, or the brand "Miracle Noodle". I've seen it refrigerated and I've seen it shelf stable - so you can actually buy Miracle Noodle on Amazon fairly cheaply.0
