    Welcome! Here is a GREAT website on myfitnesspal. This guy spent a lot of time studying and then explaining in simple terms why we do and don't lose weight when we diet. I found this info VERY helpful when I first began. It isthe start of week 4 for me and finally my body has adjusted and I am losing pounds. So my advice is DON'T GIVE UP! Exercise even a little every day and eat right. Clean out the cupboards of all those tempting snacks and keep going! With all the support on this site you're sure to be successful! I joined in August and I love all the motivation and kind people on this site. It's nice to know that other people have your same issues and it's so much different than talking to someone that doesn't have a weight issue (like my husband).
