Hello,

I am a 24 year old female with recently discovered hypothyroidism. I have been on the track of getting fit for two weeks now, and so far so good.

I attempted to lose weight last fall and lost 12 pounds on HerbaLife with minimal workout (1-2 times per week). I was not content and gave up and gained everything right back.

I started my new journey at 183 lbs. The last I had checked (a week ago) I had gained 3 lbs., but it is muscle I am certain since yesterday I was able to zip up a jacket that I couldn't zip up two weeks ago and it was much more lose on me than it was two weeks ago!

My goal is to get between 125-130 lbs. within 6 months? What does everyone suggest?

My current regiment (which appears to be working based on how I feel and how I fit in my clothing) is as follows:

-Cardio 30-45 minutes 6 days a week, burning between 350-500 calories/session
-Mix of free weights and resistance weights 6 days a week
-Consuming 1,200-1,500 calories daily (salads, vegetables, lean proteins, balanced carbohydrates and dairy and fats, herbalife shakes 1-2 times daily, etc.)
-Intermittent P90X3 (since I do not have adequate upper arm strength yet, some of the moves are near-impossible for me at this point in time so I am taking it "easy")

Any further recommendations?

I am a full-time veterinary student who sits and studies all day outside of what I am currently doing, so if there is anything else anyone suggests, I would love to hear about it!
