Losing Weight by reducing calories

I consider myself to be a relatively healthy eater, along with being very active (running, yoga, and strength training 4 - 5 times a week). I have always eaten well, rarely eating processed foods, eating mainly fresh foods.
I have decided to lower my calorie intake and trying to increase my fiber and foods that will boost my metabolism..I have the slowest metabolism despite my healthy eating and frequent exercise... I've cheated in the past few weeks with a few bad choice items (my diary should be viewable by this community) I joined a program called Herbal Magic, and despite the high cost to join, it beats spending the equivalent on personal trainers who in the past did not encourage my weight loss.
I should also say that at several times in my life I have suffered from anorexia and bulimia, had doctors put me on diet pills, so I don't want to go down that road again, especially at my age. I guess, I am just asking if reducing my calorie intake which will match the output in exercise is a good way to go - at least to shift these first 10 lbs. What foods should I be eating. I really don't like taking supplements (I don't even take Tylenol or Advil for headaches, preferring to take natural remedies). Please, any suggestions... tx
