Giving up due to injury is not the answer.

Hi guys, it’s been a couple of months that I haven’t used the system. This was due to the frustration of having a foot injury that gave me lots of pain. So I was not motivated to count calories especially during the Christmas period. Just wanted to say that I am back on my feet again and started to walk again. I have to admit what I did was wrong, I gave up and didn’t ask for help, all I did was blame my injury and doing the complete opposite of what I should have been doing. I was worried more of when I would get to move again. And didn’t even bother to weigh myself because I wasn’t being active. Now my injury seems to be gone and I am able to go out and about. I have built up the courage to continue, were some damage of what I did will be fixed in no time at all. I am learning with my stupidity that what I did was the worst thing some could actually due. Giving up due to injury is not the answer.

That's the right way to do it. Very well done :flowerforyou:

Of course, letting that fear overwhelm you was not optimal, but at least you are taking responsibility NOW and that is what counts! This journey is not black and white, and it is not linear. It might take longer now, but it's not like you ruined anything

So simply keep confident, don't be afraid to ask for help and support, that can really do a thing!
And if you consider doing more sports again, please keep in mind to talk about this with your doctor, don't risk any long- time problems because of that injury, okay?

    Keep going :flowerforyou:

I did the same thing this year over a shoulder injury. I'm back at it now too! Just take one day at a time and you'll get back to where you want to be!
