"At Home" Health Measurements to Do

This a simple one; what sort of measurements can you do, at home*, to monitor your health/fitness while dieting?

I'm UK so the NHS won't always do things like blood tests without reason, and it's difficult for me to get to a surgery during opening hours, so being able to monitor things at home would be very useful. I have access to a few bits of equipment, due to knowing people in the medical profession.

At the moment I've thought of:
Blood Pressure
Resting Heart Rate
Measurements w/ Tape Measure
Body Fat Percentage (using measurements)
Weight

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I know nothing will ever come close to professional medical advice, so this is just a way to estimate how things at going between official visits.

Thanks

* Some things could be done with a Blood Pressure Cuff, etc, so using bought in equipment

sounds good...take before and after pics too..often times the visual helps motivate a lot.

The only caveat with BF% is that with measurments it will be off...but it will give a good indication of losses in that area.

Photos! Knew there'd be an obvious one I'd miss. Thanks :)

Do you have any suggestions on how to work out BF%, without using one of those "Bod Pod" things?
