Fat Loss Stacks...worth it?

A friend recommended checking into Fat Loss/Weight Loss stacks for my workout routine. He has had some great success with his, losing nearly 90 pounds in about 11 months. Are there any products I should avoid when considering these? Or are there even better options out there than these supplements? Currently, I am taking a Body Fortress whey protein powder, a multi-vitamin (one a day) and some omega 3 fish pills.

  • I'll have to research that a little more.

The thing you have to remember about supplements is that they are geared towards that very small number of people that compete in body building competitions. For the average Joe they are just a waste of money. Beyond that, *some* of the ingredients found in *some* these fat burning supplements have been recently linked to deaths (search 'fat burning supplement deaths').
Congratulations to your friend for losing the weight but I doubt (from behind a screen on the other side of the world) that supplements had much, if anything, to do with it. Waste of money.

If you are occasionally having energy issues before a workout then drink some coffee. It's really as simple as that. There are no quick fixes i'm afraid.

Thanks for the input! I'm definitely not wanting the quick fix as I'm now starting an exercise routine and making some healthy changes in my diet. That was his claim, that the burners and everything like that helped him when he plateaued and things of that nature. He built it up, but I was skeptical. But, I don't know anything about them haha so I was curious at the same time.

You are welcome but apparently people are accusing me of being a troll so maybe you shouldn't take my advice :(
