                    Greetings fellow MFP users! I am a recept university graduate who has steadily gained weight over the past 3 years due to poor choice in diet (fast food, junk food, the pizza delivery drivers would recognize me on the street...it's sad) and sheer laziness/inactivity - it's time to make a change! I am looking for some people to keep me accountable and on track to achieve my goal of losing 50 lbs in the next year. Having used MFP on-and-off since September I have tracked my calorie intake and some days I binged and went over 2500; with no exercise I know these binges have hurt my body and I am taking it much more seriously.
My stats: 29 year old female, 5'4'', 195-200 lbs, born with a heart defect that required surgery at 7 days old (all good now except for a murmur which doctors say is ok), diabetes runs in my family (mother, her mother, plus an aunt and uncle). I NEED to get myself healthy to avoid serious health complications down the road.
MFP has set me at a daily 1270 calorie limit. Now that the weather is getting nicer I am starting to walk daily between 30-60 minutes; due to my heart condition I don't want to push myself too hard until I am in better shape.
I'm looking for some friends on MFP so we can keep each other motivated and on track to achieve our goals. Interested? Add me!
