If you're lacking motivation to reach your ultimate goal weight, try setting yourself mini goals and reward yourself with something you really want.
Personally, my mini goals are 5 lbs apart and I have nice little rewards (a new book, new phone case) next to them. When I reach my ultimate goal weight, my reward is two complete new outfits. The reward just before that is a something that I REALLY want so that way I work hard to get what I really want and then my goal weight is right in reach. (Check my profile if you want to see my actual goal and reward list. I accept friend requests if they have a message.)
I used to have foods like a chai tea or cookie dough as my reward for when I hit a goal weight but someone told me, "An alcoholic wouldn't reward himself with alcohol after a year of being sober."
That basically opened my eyes and made me realize that I don't have to cut those things out of my diet but they certainly shouldn't be rewards. The reward is a happy and healthy life once we get there!
So try it and even share your goals and rewards with us so we can all be inspired!
Good luck and have a lovely day everyone!
