What kind of Diet ??

I am eating high protein , low card diet. I am walking 3 miles each day.I need to loose over 100 lbs. Am I going about this the right way? I am just confused about which diet to follow. I google it and too confusing .... so many to try !! Somebody lead me in the right direction.Any help will be appreciated !

The short version: Don't worry about which diet - just stick to something that keeps to in a caloric deficit. Don't worry about which exercise - just do what you can stick to.0 -
The best kind of "diet" is the kind you can continue indefinitely. It's not a temporary fix to a potentially lifelong problem but a change made to prevent the weight from returning. Unless you intend to cut out carbs forever, cutting them now is going to be counterproductive. Start with the following links:

Agree with above. Which nutrients keep you satisfied? I'm eating a higher fat (35-40%) diet because I find that healthy fats keep me satiated ie. Coconut oil, nuts, avocado. This helps me stick to my calorie goal0
