OP, when you're answering someone in a thread, click on "Quote" first, so everyone knows you're not just talking to yourself.

I cant move out because I work a very part time minimum wage job that wouldn't be able to support me living on my own.
  • Srsly? You're 25 and you're worried that you'll 'never watch TV again'? Do you ever plan on moving out?

You didn't tell us if you had done what your mother asked you to do. If the answer is "no", I imagine that's what set her off. Maybe it's time to stop watching TV and help out a bit?
    I did do it

I guess it's time to get a job, move out, and buy your own TV.

    skullshank- you did nothing wrong!!!

perhaps not, but what i did do is jump to some conclusions that may or may not be true about the OP.

(but between you and me, the more replies of hers i read, the more i think i was right  )
You may be right about what?
And I do have a mental/learning disability where I haven't been able to find a job above minimum wage

I cant move out because I don't have a high enough paying job with enough hours because I have a mental/learning disability.

So go work more hours and/or get a better job then.

Perhaps the right question would have been "Is there something I can help you with, Mom?" That said, do you think she could come take my husband's tv, too? I hate tv.

If this is the case then I apologise for all previous comments. However if you need to still be living with your mum maybe contribute more to the household, presumably you are doing something wrong if she is feeling the need to take the tv off of you.

But I suspect you are saying this now because of previous comments in the thread, not because its actually true.

I have limited access to the internet, I don't have access at home, only at the library or on my tablet with the wifi at starbucks.

Which would be a shame as it make everyone who really does have issues get dirty looks and never ask for the help they need.

If you can afford a tablet and starbucks you can look at moving out of home, even if you have to go into a flatmate type situation. At the very least you can afford to start paying board if you don't already so your mum will be less pissy.
