SOME PRE AND POST WORK OUT SNACK ??:)

I m doing insanity and i dont know what to eat before and after workout :)

Here what i eat :)

Before : 3 little spoons of peanut Butter
After: 200 ml of yogurt with 2 spoons of honey ;)

What about you ??:)

    I don't specifically eat special food before or after a workout...

    I eat when I am hungry...

    Not sure what the point of eating "special foods" pre and post workout is...

    It is also my understanding you should have a small snack before a workout. A small healthy snack high in protein, an hour to 30 minutes before so you will have the fuel your body needs to get thru the workout. I usually have 2 hard boiled eggs or a quest bar. I'm not a big fan of the way they taste (they tatste like protien bars) but they do the job

    Agree with sexy stef. Nutrient timing is not key if you are not an elite athlete or have an underlying problem. Post workout nausea can be due to glycogen depletion. which for some can be assisted with carbs, or sugar. You will not go catabolic in a short span of time.
