All Things 30Day Shred

So I have started going to the gym, counting calories, and trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Yay!... Not. Anyways, I will be going out of town and my hometown, unfortunately, does not have a YMCA which is where I have been going. I am speaking a different language when it comes to machines and weights, so I bought Jillians 30 Day Shred.
Getting to my questions, has anyone bigger, like 300+, ever done this and saw good results? Anyone want to share progress pictures? I NEED MOTIVATION!
Also, how do I track it with putting in my exercise in daily? Is it considered Calisthenics or whatever?
THANKS!

It's considered circuit training. I am not 300+ but I know bigger people find it hard on the knees because of the jumping jacks and similar moves. You can find level 1 on YouTube and try it out, though.0

I am not 300 lbs but I did start the 30DS 2 days ago to hopefully tone up. I have never been all that toned. I am slim but I tend to retain everything in my gut literally. I am a size small everywhere except my waist and chest which makes for very difficult shopping
;( I have been posting a blog everyday (only 2 days so far) on how I am feeling with the program and will continue doing that. I will take pics today for before ones. I have had 3 children so I have awful stretched skin on my stomach, and anytime I eat what seems to be anything I look 6 months pregnant. (gluten and digestive issues which I am trying to resolve with diet but it is a learning process) I currently am trying to stick to a 1200 cal diet a day and eating 5-6 small meals instead of 3 larger ones. So far so good.....;) but it has only been 2 days lol. I so far like the 30DS workout especially cause it is super quick and I bore easily. I use to kettlebells but fell off the wagon due to the small space we are currently living in. There just is not and room to be swinging bells around. That being said the results I was starting to see from kettlebells were really amazing for only a month and will definitely be switching between the two when space permits again!0 -
30DS is great...I logged it as circut training as it has cardio, weights and abs...
As for being over 300lbs...I wasn't when I started but that doesn't mean a person at that weight couldn't...
But for results I lost 9 inches in 33 days...I say that's pretty good.0 -
9 inches!! That is really good! Congrats!0
