Calf soreness with new running shoes

I've been a runner for years now, with a marathon, 3 half marathons and countless 10k/5k under my belt. I've been running in Nike Air Pegasus for as long as I can remember, but when I bought my new shoes recently I went with Brooks Ghost. I noticed after my first run with them (only 25 minutes long) that I experienced a lot of soreness in both calves afterward - they're just really really tight. I've since run a total of 3 times in them (each run just 3 miles, easy runs over a week's time) and calves are pretty sore still. I'm stretching, foam rolling and all that, but I've never experienced this before.

I'll keep at it, but has anyone else experienced this with Brooks shoes, or any other shoe?

I recently purchased a new pair of shoes. My last pair were Sauconys, and I stayed with that brand. I was fitted for them as well. However, I had quite a bit of soreness when I first started running in them. The general consensus when I asked this same question was that you shouldn't have soreness with new shoes...I stuck with it for a few more runs and the soreness went away. I've had no pain at all since. The only thing I could think of is that the guy took me from a shoe for overpronators (I picked my first pair of shoes without getting fitted, and apparently picked the wrong ones) to a neutral shoe. I guess my muscles had to adjust to that a bit.
