^ not necessarily true, there's a lot of informative shows on discovery or history (before they got crazy w/ the alien theories)

(in response to tv makes ppl stupid)

LOVE the discovery and history channels! I spend a great deal of my Sundays watching these documentaries, and I learn so much.

What ^^He^^ said! Summer time I'm barely indoors, but winter, it's kind of a necessity (for me). I don't have cable or satallite, but I do like my Hulu and movies.

My TV is shot. Should I get a new one? I'm thinkin' no. .

Sorry, I can't do without my TV. When I'm home it's on. I live in a rural area and when I first moved out here my DTV went out a lot. When the DTV goes out so does the internet even though they're not connected. I thought about selling the house because of it. Glad I didn't. The kinks were worked out and we've had no problems for a long time.

I watch Netflix when I'm on the treadmill or elliptical at the gym (yeah, I'm one of those!) :embarassed:

I haven't watched TV in years, and my life is better for it. TV makes people stupid.

Ever watched a documentary? Or the news?

I know riding a bike has never made anyone any smarter..
Wow, someone is a TV addict. Really, the news? Who still gets their news from the TV? Grossly uninformed people, that's who.

I'll say it again: TV makes people stupid.

    No, inbreeding does.
