Calories burned help?

Hi.

Just started MFP today to lose weight.

When I added in my exercise it added the calories burned to my daily allowance!

Do I now to consume these calories??
Surly by now eating the amount of calories that I burned, this will defeat the purpose of exercising and burning the calories???

Totally confused?!

Help would be great.

    I was told that you are supposed to eat them because if you're following the MFP calorie guidelines they already put you at a deficit. But it's up to you.
