Best Weight Lifting Program for Women?

I've seen women get some amazing results--even changing their body shape--through weight training. I'd like to try weight training, but I don't know where to start. Also, I can't go to the gym so I basically need a good weight lifting workout video...if such a thing exists.
Any recommendations for good women's weight lifting workout videos?

What kind of equipment do you have at home? You might want to check out the book New Rules of Lifting for Women. If you only have dumbbells, ChaLean Extreme is a great starter program for using weights.0

This
But at good STARTER program is Stronglifts, Starting Strength, All Pro, and some others I'm blanking on at the moment. You'll need the proper equipment, though.
Look into body weight training. Convict Conditioning, You Are Your Own Gym0 -
the same one for the men
strong lifts
starting strength
new rules of lifting
strong curves (although that's admittedly more female focused)0 -

The one that you will actually do is the best.
Honestly though, don't expect heavy lifting results with 5 pound dumbbells and a tv.0 -
Do stronglifts 5x5!0

I've done Stronglifts 5x5, New Rules of Lifting for Women, and read Starting Strength. Starting Strength is a great read if you want to learn the technical stuff of correct form and why lifting is important. I like the Stronglifts program for its simplicity. New Rules was good but had too many different exercises and got a bit confusing and time consuming. It's a good program to start with though.
If you want to do these at home, you'd have to get some equipment, which may be more than you're thinking of committing to. DVD's are great for cardio but for strength you need a good program and the proper equipment.
For a DVD you could try Les Mill's Body Pump which is kind of a strength/cardio hybrid workout (from what I understand, I've taken Body Pump at the gym not used the DVD). But make sure you're adding enough weight to really challenge yourself.

this..I personally like stronglifts 5x5 cause it's free and no power cleans.0 -
