So I'm on vacation visiting Atlanta. Before I left I had weighed myself two times that weeks I was in the range of 193-196. My scale is digital and so is my best friend's. Granted I weighed myself after eating and at night but her scale said 202. I haven't seen the 200s in weeks. I'm feeling really discouraged..

1. Use only one scale to weigh yourself
2. Always weigh yourself at the same time of day
3. Do not freak out over minor fluctuations - that's completely normal0 -

They might both be right and the difference, as you pointed out, was that you weighed yourself after eating and at night.
You are more than the number on the scale.0 -
Only scale I compare mine to is the one at the doctor's office. I weigh on mine (fully clothed) right before I go to an appointment and then at his office. His scale weighs me consistently .8 lbs. less than mine. Since he has a much better scale than I do, I feel confident that mine weighs me pretty accurately.0
