Forearm pain when lifting

Hi,
I've been focusing heavily on heavy lifting for the last 14wks and have noticed over the last 2-3 weeks I'm having pain in my forearms during lifting. I feel it in both arms but more on my right side. It runs from the middle of my arm crease right down my outer aspect of my forearm. There is tenderness but it isn't directly on my elbow but in front of it. I'm guessing it's because the weights are getting heavier and my forearms are weak but I'm not sure. It's gotten to the extent that lifting anything even a stack of heavy dinner plates up into the cabinets generates this pain. It kinda feels like a muscle strain. Any thoughts or suggestions for me? I've started using the TENS machine on the area and plan to start icing it. Oh..and for 12wks of that time I was doing a 4day split weight routine but have now changed it to 3day/week full body weight routine with a rest day in between lifting days. Thanks in advance

Stop doing the exercises that aggravate it and find alternatives. If pain continues, see a doctor.0

Where on your forearm is the pain? If you hold your arm straight out and face your palm towards the ceiling where is it hurting?0

The best I could describe by how you've asked me to assess it is with palm facing up is .. So if you find the mid point of my wrist on the back of hand side and follow it up the forearm, that is where i feel the 'pain'. The pain doesn't start from the wrist though..it starts about midway up the forearm and upwards to my elbow area. Did I explain that clearly?0
