BIRTHDAY BINGING

anyone got any tips on how to stay focused over a birthday???? It's mine on sunday and while i'm EXCITED i'm already a little bummed out. We had a HUGE birthday cake at work for it that i wasn't expecting and i really couldn't resist (please know I tried). Then I got a huge bag of chocolate eggs and a milk tray from some friends. Off to Ireland for the weekend so I can't even stick to my normal workout schedule.
Anyone got any advice?? I want to still have a good time - birthdays only come once a year etc, but I also want to stay on track.

Enjoy the weekend, its your birthday and I don't know your situation but the chance to go to Ireland isn't very common for me. Enjoy your trip and experience all there is to experience ( I want to reach my goals but I am not willing to sacrifice living a fulfilling life either, its all about pros and cons and compromise), think about your options and try to make the best choices but don't stress about it. When you get back you can get right back on track and refocused. As for the eggs, throw them in the freezer and find a way to fit them in as treats when you want one.0 -
My birthday is on Saturday! I'm going to do my normal Saturday workout and eat breakfast and lunch at home. Then I intend to start drinking very early in the afternoon and eat something awful for me for dinner. I end up feeling terrible if I am eating poorly for more than one meal in a row and I need my strength to drink all of the alcohol I can find. .0

Don't reward yourself with food...you are not a dog!
You can enjoy yourself without losing control!
Happy Birthday and enjoy your trip!!!!0 -
I always do and eat whatever I want on my birthday weekend...you can just go back to normal after all the food & celebrating

Enjoy your weekend. My birthday is tomorrow the 14th and I know that I will be having myself a nice hunk of cake! I think I have earned it. You can always get back on track when you get back. Happy Birthday and enjoy Ireland!0

I try to go for the 80/20 lifestyle. 80% of the time, make good choices. The other 20% of the time, can be for your "bad" choices. I think one day once in a while is a good thing for you. You shouldn't feel guilty over a special day. On Monday maybe do a few extra minutes during your workout, or plan some healthier meals.
Most importantly, Happy Bithday.0
