Is breakfast important?

If you are consuming your daily required macros, does breakfast matter?

I'm asking because my grandma was telling me today that I should eat breakfast; it will give me energy for the day. Is this true?

I had a banana today for breakfast, and it took me like an hour to eat. I just don't feel hungry when I wake up.

    i sometimes eat breakfats but not often. i train early of the morning and unless its a heavy leg day ill train fasted. some say its the most important meal of the day, for me its just the first meal of the day so if i dont eat til 1pm im eating breakfast then.

    It's just one of those things we have always been told, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I threat every meal as the most important meal, because it is for me, to reach whatever my daily goal is. And I also work nights, so my breakfast is at 9pm haha
