Hi, I'm looking into starting a workout program, I'm just not sure which one I should do(i.e: T25, P90x, Insanity, JM workouts, etc.). I want to get as many people's opinions as possible. So which one should I do? And once I reach my goal weight can I continue using the same program to maintain weight and stay in shape? If not what program would you suggest for staying in shape?

Do a workout that YOU ENJOY doing.
It is gonna suck and you won't be able to maintain it if you don't enjoy it (an even look forward to it).
If you don't know what you like try everything and you will find out pretty quick.
I like to do things that strengthen my weaknesses (hips, but, glutes) so I enjoy kickboxing and taebo.
I can't address T25, p90x, or Insanity but I do JM level 2, 30 day shred in the morning when I only have a 1/2 hour. I think it is effective and definitely gets me going in the morning. Too bad I can't stand JM though. :noway:
I also suggest including yoga and stretching practice with your workout routine. There are so many different styles. I really enjoy Kundalini yoga because it is highly active, energizing, and relaxing at the same time.
Good luck!0 -
The best one is the one you will like doing. If you wait to pick the perfect program you will be missing out on all the benefits. If you are just starting out, p90x or insanity may be too intense? Just focus on moving more.0
