Thank you

I just wanted to write and say thank you, MFP. In the 2 years I've been on this site, I have argued, fought and debated nutrition more than I ever have previously, and it has undoubtedly honed my views. Those arguments have also forced me to back up my views, drop some positions and approaches, and take up some new positions and approaches that I never thought I would. What I have learned is very much worth the crow that I have eaten in return. So for everyone with whom I've ever got into a knock-down-drag-out fight with in the forums, I say "cheers." Debate, disagreement, and argument provide clarity, without which we don't have advancement. And no, we don't have to always agree.

I could not agree more. It is sometimes hard to swallow my ego and acknowledge that I...may.be.wrong. But I have learned that MFP is a wealth of information if you are willing to wade through it and learn.

I've always wondered, does it hurt to be wrong? It seems like the sort of thing that would be physically painful. I have no frame of reference for that sort of pain, but it seems unpleasant.

Young Earth creationists RULE evolutionists DROOL!! HAHA!

I'm going to go hop in my youth pastor's jeep now and ride out to a camp grounds for the weekend where I'm certain absolutely nothing untoward will occur.

    Also . . . you're welcome.

Yep. Without MFP I would have never even heard about 'New Rules of Weight Lifting' and would've been stuck in some cardio/1200 timewarp hell forever. Or at least months of trial and error. So thanks, MFP!
