Reducing Sugar Intake - Effect on Bloating?

I've always had the issue if I have quite a bit of sugar for a few days (going over my limit) my face tends to bloat up a bit then goes down after a few days. The excessive sugary foods come from a combination of chocolate (mainly), sweets, sodas and juices which I usually take in moderation. I wanted to try to see what would happen if I stuck to a lower range in my sugar intake. Has anyone else done this and what occured? How long did it take to lose the bloat?

Here's a short guide to foods and habits that can cause bloat: http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/diarrhea-10/bloated-bloating.

The only thing on your list that could really be bloating you is soda, especially if it is diet soda. Your juice might be causing you to bloat as well. I would really look to your sodium intake to cut water retention and bloat. I can easily drop 2 lbs and thin my face by going from a sodium-heavy day (bread, cheese, soups usually) to a low-sodium day.
