    My 8th grader took a pie to school today. :sad: I wanted that pie.

    The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, approximately equal to 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π" since the mid-18th century though it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi" (/paɪ/).

    Yes, live in Rome and know the exact place where they did it. Last year there was an enactment in costume, of course. Saw an interesting show on TV with indepth investigation using today's methods. The result was
    Ceasar had epilepsy which was getting worse. He was warned by many that his life was in danger, but chose to go to the Forum anyway. Therefore the supposition is that it was a sort of suicide, going out with a bang--so to speak--and it worked, since we remember the episode today.
