Conflicted!!! What to do, what to do?

While a lot of people say "go for it"... it's just a sundae... it's not going to make you gain all your weight back overnight... blah blah blah".... for some, this little "cheat" or "indulgence" or whatever you want to call it, might be the tipping point that could send the OP over the edge and back to eating junk. I don't know what the OP's trigger point is... but I know for me there are certain foods that will trigger some sort of response in me where I just continue with the "indulgence" for days, weeks, months...and ultimately find myself back where I started from with a few more pounds.
Go into it with the attitude that it is a "CHOICE". I have found that if I allow myself to choose to eat something I normally won't, then I don't beat myself up afterwards...or better yet, realize that while I can choose to eat it, I can also choose to not eat it and quite honestly, for the past 9 months I have chosen to "not" eat it.... maybe someday I will.. .maybe not... it's my choice...
If you do choose to have the sundae, then up your physical activity a bit and compensate with the food choices for the rest of the day. You can find Cherry Garcia ice cream in the food search... build yourself a sundae with the ice cream and toppings you want and see where it is calorie-wise... then when you order, specify the amount you want... and enjoy knowing that you have allotted for the treat.0 -
Eat the damned thing, enjoy it, log it ,then get over it.0
