This Nursing Thing...

Okay, I've been rather frustrated with just adding the Breastfeeding- Exclusively Nursing 1 cup- yadda yadda to my breakfast because it only adds -500 empty calories that at the end of the day that I have to try to make up without screwing up my macros. I know that nursing burns more than just 500 empty calories, exclusively nursing women need an extra (as a rough estimate) 19g of fat, 700 mg of sodium, 60g carbs, and 12g of protein. HOWEVER, when I try to add this to MY diet, MFP says I've added an invalid number for nutrients. How do I add these, does anyone know, or can anyone correct the information that is already there for the nursing option?

I set my calories higher, adding in the nursing calories without deducting them at all. This way, my macros remain the same.0

Exclusively nursing an infant burns on average 300 calories, nursing on demand without other milk an older baby or toddler burns on average 500 calories. I would suggest you raise your goal calories by this number, increasing proportionally the macro goals you already have, instead of adding it as negative calories.0
