Confused about HRM's

So I am looking to buy a HRM and am very confused. I am thinking of buying the Polar FT4, because I do not need anything hugely complex but want something that is good and will last a while. My question is, does the chest strap come with the watch or do I have to buy that seperately? Some places it looks like they come together but sometimes it does not!

    I purchased the FT4 from amazon for about 70$..it comes with the strap and it works! easy to use, you can swim in it to 30m. I was after calories burned and heartrate so this fits the bill.

    its all together. I love my FT4 I just got it last week.
