Just working out my calorie intake for P90x.
Weight 125 x 10 = 1250
Not sure if I have understood the next step correctly. I do a desk job so my only real activity comes from my workouts. I was not sure what to times my RMR by? X20 is the formula on the guide. 20% of my RMR is 250 which would suggest 1500 cals.
According to various websites 1540 give or take is my recommended amount of calories to maintain weight.
So I assume x20 is accurate for me - unless I have completely misunderstood the formula, never been a fan of maths lol.
So each day I should eat 1500 plus my exercise calories - book suggests 600 but I have a HRM so can verify that once I start.
Thanks very much : )
