Poorly (cold) motivation

A quick post to say I feel like rubbish (I have a bad cold/cough/sneezing/tired etc). This morning I went out and did my local parkrun (timed 5km run) and got a PB (28.26)! From this I have taken two things:
1. A cold doesn't stop me exercising nor shall it mess up my weight loss plan.
2. If I run a PB when I can't breath I obviously haven't been trying hard enough before!

Both of these things make me happy and motivate me to run faster next week. I am HUNGRY now though :-) maybe a snack is in order.

Just thought I'd share this with you as I am now laying on the sofa trying not to feel sorry for myself for being poorly.

Happy weekend to you all, may it be a good one!

You won by actually putting on clothes and going outside and running!

    Good job!

Great job. As long as it is a head cold and you don't have a fever, go for it. Make sure you refuel with lots of vitamins and minerals to fight the cold. Hope you feel better soon.
