I just had my third and last baby. I'm looking to lose 50 pounds. But I have a HUGE sweet tooth that I cannot seem to control. Does anyone have any tips on how to curb this? I'm an emotional eater, my mom just passed away and then I had a baby...so I eat to cope. But it's making me too fat! Any tips would help!!!

Did you start tracking yet? Go crazy on this site; play around in the forums, make new friends, look for new recipes to try, have some fun and make your health your hobby. And this is cliche but it works: find some new things other than food that make you feel good. Exercise is the classic replacement. When my kids were little, it was stroller/bike time for them and walk time for me. Good for all!0

It is mainly called discipline. You have to have the mindset that you are going to do it. Not try, but do it. So what if you eat some sweets one day. You just start the next day with a clean slate. Not that sweets are evil, but some people find them just too tempting and they are certainly filled with low nutrient calories. You already know that you are an emotional eater. Don't use it as an excuse. Find something else to do when you are bored, stressed, etc. like use the strollers and take a walk like the previous poster said.
There is no magic here and no one else can fix your problem. Only you can do that. And believe that you can do that because you CAN. Good luck!0
