I gained it all back!

Hi, I was a fitnesspal junky in 2012, logging almost every meal and keeping friends. Then, after a few scale weigh ins and feeling like I would never make goal I totally gave up. Initially my heaviest weight in 2011 was 197 pounds, I started fitness pal in 2012, and lost 42 pounds, down to 155. I felt great. Went from size 14 - 16 to a size 8. Then, I gave it all up. Here I am again, 196 pounds, feeding my sorrows in cake, cookies and pizza. MY workout videos have collected a large layer of dust and I'm sick of it. It's hot outside again in California and I'm inside, depressed that my fat butt is back into a size 14 and disgusted. I need friends so I can do this again! Please help

I can relate having regained from an original loss myself. Add me if you like. I have been back at it again for over a month and feeling really good and confident again this time. I think sometimes a regain is needed to reinforce the fact that we do NOT want to do this again so make it permanent this time and finally overcome the self-sabotaging habits that get in the way.0

I can relate, I was down to 187 in September, started back at 206 a week ago! Dark nights and Xmas got in the way. But I'm back on it again now, this time I will do it! Good luck on your journey. Feel free to add me.0

I can definitely relate! At one point I was at 200 pounds (a lot but 20lbs lighter than I was before). Now, after a few years, I'm at 250 lbs. I'm only 21 years old and never thought I would be at my heaviest in this time of my life. If you want, I'm willing to be your support buddy! The more motivation, the more likely you will lose that weight again.0
