Would you rather be a Shark or Dolphin? question of success

I work in a place where I have to be a shark, if I spot a weakness I go for it. I have to take advantage of people even though I don't like too. It feels as if the most successful people are sharks, who swim alone.

Sharks are feared predators, and have no known predators(for the most part)
And dolphins, everybody loves them, but they are not respected as predators.

I feel this translates directly to work and life in general.. what say you?

I much prefer to be a dolphin but my bank account needs a shark!!

Why not be the shark fishing boat. Sounds better to me.
Except.. They don't treat sharks well. Hmm.

haven't you seen flipper? the shark may be big, bad and ruthless. but the dolphin sure can kick it's butt!
  • I wanna be a dolphin. Sure the shark is menacing, but you pretty much know what to expect. A dolphin looks harmless but will destroy you and bathe in the blood of it's enemies..:D

oh and by the way I've seen a giant octopus eat a shark.

Dolphin. A shark's lifestyle seems a bit too limited and unchanging for my taste.

    I'd be a dolphin.
Dolphins seem like they know how to have a good time, I'd like a fun undersea life!

This all depends on your definition of success. and perhaps on your work place.

My workplace (let alone my life) does not function on the concept of exploiting the weaknesses of others.
