Trying here..

Okay so I've had some bad bad eating patterns the last couple of years, not eating a bite until around 4 or 5 pm.. I know it's terrible and I'm trying to break a bad pattern. Since joining up and trying to get serious I'm still having a hard time. I will smoothie up some greens, almond milk and berries which is a step in the right direction... Though now I'm not eating far enough.. Most days 2 to 450 calories and not working out. I don't need mean comments, because I know it's no good. Anytime I've had success in dropping weight I would cut calories, slightly drastic to like 800 to 1000 calls a day. I'm not sure where to go from here

You need to eat more than 1299 calories.0 -
Seconded. It helps a lot and makes life easier.0 -
Agreed on starting here, but there is nothing actually wrong with not eating until later in the day. As long as you eat the appropriate amount of calories per day, it doesn't matter what time you have them. If that is the way you are most comfortable, you may want to search the boards for "Intermittent fasting".0 -

It doesn't matter when you eat or how often you eat, but meeting a healthy calorie goal does matter.
I'm so glad that you have decided to make a change. You can do it.0 -

I agree.
But there is something wrong with eating 450 calories. Which I THINK is what the OP is saying although it's hard to say, I could be misreading.0 -
I know a lady who eats all her calories at one meal-about all 1600 of them and she maintains a healthy weight. She just doesn't like eating early in the morning or late at night, or even often.

I know of a couple who purposefully go to all you can eat places at lunch time and they eat 90% or more of their calories at that meal. They are somewhat older and are not fit but they are not overweight or obese either. Interesting option.0 -
