Trouble with ab exercises help please :)

Hi guys, I know this is going to sound weird. I've just started doing 30 day shred again and am having trouble doing the ab exercises. When it comes to the bicycle crunches I can't physically keep my legs bent and in the air for even a few seconds, even though I've lost a lot of weight since last trying to do them! I've been running and going to the gym for the last few months and my fitness is relatively high but I just cant seem to do certain ab exercises, does anyone have any tips? Thanks heaps, I am going to keep trying and work through the programme anyway
