I bought the Mortal Kombat soundtrack back in the 90s with the money my grandparents gave me for gettings A's. ($5 per A, $1 for B's, it was a good incentive).
I was obsessed with that movie, still have it around somewhere. And the second movie soundtrack, too!0 -

oh and lots of the little records (45s?) some from Show Biz Pizza.
I do remember the very first cassette tape I bought. Madonna "True Blue". I was 9 and bought it with my allowance.0 -
