Not sure, as I'm not qualified to answer. But am curious about it as my Son asked for gummy vitamins, instead of the pill form but I was scared to buy them encase they didn't have the same potency as pill form.

I'm not sure if you SHOULD take them or not but if you are eating low carb is keep an eye on it.... I can't swallow pills and was taking some gummies and they by themselves put me at 40 carbs a day before I even ate anything....

40 carbs seems high, I take the bayer one a day for women gummy vitamins and 2 - the dosage for an adult for a day- are 10 cals and 3 carbs.

Just had my husband look to make sure I wasn't absolutely crazy and
One is 8 carbs and you take it twice a day and the other is 12 carbs and you take it twice a day....

I did however never say they were vitamins.

Are you taking the prenatal vitamins also for hair and nail growth?

I'm assuming the prenatal multivitamin also has vitamins A and E? With supplements more does not always mean better. Vitamins A and E have toxicity levels because they are stored in your body. They are not water soluble and thus not excreted in your urine when you ingest too much. Perhaps you should take one brand of multi vitamin with a biotin supplement (for the hair and nails if that is important to you).

I started taking the prenatals last year just because they taste good and I needed a multivitamin that I would be motivated to take consistently.

That sounds like a good idea. Is the biotin the only thing in the One Source that's contributing to the hair and nails?

The rest of those vitamins should be in a multi. If you want to ensure you are getting the same amount then just compare the two and supplement the multivitamin. For example, if you find the One Source supplement has more biotin and vitamin E you can get a separate biotin supplement and a separate vitamin E supplement. Make sense?

To be honest I am skeptical of the supplements that promote hair growth. More info here on biotin: http://umm.edu/health/medical/altmed/supplement/vitamin-h-biotin

They make a lot of the one a day vitamins now in gummies.
