I started a workout regimen a little over a month ago and I've seen some wonderful results but my lower back fat is still clinging to me!! The thing is my body fat is at 16% but it seems like almost all my fat is in my low back
I know there's no target weight loss but does anyone have tips that help losing fat in general as well as in this area?
Currently, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays I do one of the first 3 Cardio Parties from Turbo Jam (videos by beach body) and the fat blaster. Wednesdays I take a cardio sculpt class at the gym. Saturdays I take Zumba. & Sundays I do some form of ab workout (Ab Jam or Rockin' Abs, also part of Turbo Jam) mixed with some cardio.
I figure doing cardio basically everyday should burn the fat I want gone? But what else can I do?
Oh & I eat pretty healthy but I'm not on a strict diet plan or anything.
I'm also 5'4 & weigh about 112 lbs

Cardio is great for burning calories and for heart health. However I find resistance training to be the one when it comes to shaping a body. I know I didn't see dramatic changes until I've picked up some weights.
You are right, you can't spot reduce and the fat will go away as you decrease your bodyfat percentage. Doing ab workouts is not directly impacting the area you want it to. I would swap a couple of the cardio sessions with full body strength workout, and see how that helps. Wait about 2 months before giving up.0 -
You can't spot reduce. Moderate calorie deficit, exercise (especially lifting heavy weights), and time will get rid of it.0

Same here, all my remaining fat is lodged in the lower back, hiding where I can't see it.0
