Logging across time zones

I'm currently travelling away from home (:() and had a question for others here on MFP. How do you cope when you gain or lose a day due to travelling and dealing with that on MFP? For example, my day yesterday started on Saturday, but finished on Sunday night, with not a huge option of sleeping on the plane. But when I go home, I will start on Saturday, and relive Saturday on the other side as well. Do I just put up with the logging while I'm away being not exactly correct for the right day, or does anyone have any other ideas?

Regardless of what day the calendar says it is, I always log my foods from waking up to going to sleep as the same day. I deal with this on third shift at work as MFP wants me to split my meals up onto different days. I just ignore the calendar day name and log everything on the same day if I was awake to eat it.

Thanks for your reply - I normally do the same, but it threw me on the long haul flight this weekend, considering there wasn't really a 'sleeping' time but I lost a day out of it all. Ended up eating less calories than normal, even though I had an extra meal for the day. Saving it up for when I go home ...!
