New to mfp

Hi there! 34 year old mother of 4. I'm a student and a full time stay at home Mom.In the very beginning of my weight loss journey I've gone from a size 22/24 in the past to a size 12, got pregnant and gained some of it back. I started doing crossfit and went from a size 14 to a size 8 (the smallest I've ever been). Depression struck and I gained weight back slowly, I also sustained a severe ankle sprain from some serious Zumba dance moves. Now I find myself back at a size 18/20.
My goals for mfp isn't short term weight loss. I'm in this to be healthier me. Slow and steady is fine, but I find myself wanting instant gratification when it comes to my eating and working out. I'm hoping to find a plethora of motivation and encouragement to guide me in the correct mind set. I look forward to sharing my journey and meeting other people :)

    Hello! I'm a 33 year old teacher also trying to drop weight. I had made decent progress, but when the summer ended and school began, I slacked and gained it all back. Still kicking myself for that. Feel free to add me! I log in daily and try to be supportive, because I need support as well.
