Estimating Calories Burned?

Hi all!
I've been doing some videos over on www.fitnessblender.com and have really been enjoying them! On each video is a Calorie Burn amount. For instance, the Body Weight Cardio Blaster is 31 minutes and the Calorie Burned range is 168-289. I'm 6'2" and 212 lbs. so I'm probably on the higher end. But since I don't want to overestimate my calories burned, I've been logging the median amount for the workout, this one being 228. Does that sound about right to you? I'm pretty out of shape and have really had to push myself on some of these.
I'd love to hear how you calculate your calories burned.
