Diet, acid reflux and Pharyngitis?

Hi,

I am on a strict diet since last week. By the same time I started having a sort of sore throat. This -in time- switched to the need of clearing my throat which then lead to coughing.

I visited a doctor on Saturday which thought that I seem to have a Pharyngitis; which may be viral or be as a result of my reflux problem. I am on pastilles and oral rinse but it doesn't seem to slow down... Thus I am planning to try the stomach pills against the reflux.

I wonder if anyone else had the same problem on diet?

Thanks

    Hi

I have acid reflux as well. i changed my nutrition plan accordingly for 2 years and it helped. I now I can eat some "forbidden food" like raw tomatoes (without the seeds). I can not have citrus juices but I can eat some raw small citrus like clementines or tangerines. Not oranges, though.

I avoid the word "diet" because it implies I will stop this at some point. I have no intention to go back to may "old ways" if I can help it. It helps me to accept the change is for good.

I used to have a lot of upper respiratory tract issues before I started my healthier lifestyle. It got better with exercise and my nutrition plan (not diet). It took a year at least.

I hope this helps. Good luck in your healthy journey
