I have only lost .4lbs this past week and have been maintaining 1-2lbs since August. I am a little disappointed but know it is a phase. I had a planned cheat last week but it never even happened so I was that much ahead on that day. I have kept to my 1200 calories and eat most of my exercise calories. I am just curious after 2 months what should be changing if anything.

When do you know to up your calories, it is just normal to have weeks like this and just keep doing what I am doing. I guess I am wondering when you know it is time for a change.

TIA

  • Could be hormones... Also, try changing up your exercise routine. As we get stronger, we need to up the challenge in our workouts otherwise a plateau is inevitable. It is not necessarily about burning more cals but about changing the way in which you do it. Hang in, you are still going in the right direction and didn't gain!!!
I lost 7 very quickly (two weeks) and now I'm struggling for 1 at a time (week three). Don't get discouraged!

Don't change anything if it has been working. there will always be times when you will stop losing for a while. Just hang in and bear with it. If it last more than a month, then that is when you do things to kick start it again.

Today is day 5 of the exact same weight! It hasn't even moved 1 ounce. How can it be exactly the same 5 days in a row?
